Just like the hearse you die to get in again
We are so far from you
Burning on just like a match you strike to incinerate
The lives of everyone you know
And what's the worst you take (worst you take)
from every heart you break (heart you break)
And like the blade you stain (blade you stain)
Well I've been holding on tonight
What's the worst that I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight
Came a time
When every star fall brought you to tears again
We are the very hurt you sold
And what's the worst you take (worst you take)
from every heart you break (heart you break)
And like the blade you stain (blade you stain)
Well I've been holding on tonight
What's the worst that I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight
And if you carry on this way
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight
Can you hear me?
Are you near me?
Can we pretend to leave and then
We'll meet again
When both our cars collide?
What's the worst that I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight
And if you carry on this way
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight
MCR's Gerard Way Trades Concert Stage For Comic-Con Booth
Gerard Way may be one of the biggest rock stars in the world, but that doesn’t stop him from making the annual pilgrimage to Comic-Con. Way — who grew up reading comics, attended art school and interned at DC Comics before forming My Chemical Romance — attended the show to promote his Dark Horse book “The Umbrella Academy.” We’ll be bringing you much more from Way in the coming days, but hear him chat below about the latest from “Academy” as well as his love for all things Comic-Con.
What's Wrong with music Nowdays?
I just read this article:
http://www.thegauntlet.com/article/1225/13374/.html
I like that article about suicide and music. I still think emo is an umbrella term. Many bands claimed that they are not emo. So I won't talk about emo first.
I hate it when people label MCR and Panic emo. They are NOTHING related to emo, really. MCR is not related to the death of Hannah Bond either. The lyrics of "Famous Last Words" says :
"I am not afraid to keep on living, I am not afraid to walk this way alone"
How come that the press say that MCR made Hannah Bond suicide? They didn't even check out the lyrics of the song! Daily Mail is a very stupid company, please everyone do not buy anything from Daily Mail again. Don't trust them, they are idiots. Music is just music, it is a hobby, it is art, music won't change what people do, John Mayer said so [I don't like John Mayer but I think he's right].
I didn't know that black metal is banned in Islamic countries. No offense to those countries and I'm not discriminating them, but I don't really like the rules of these countries, because you MUST become a Muslim when you're a resident of these countries. But that's okay, it's their tradition, everyone in those countries are very faithful to their religion, they are not like us, they're really faithful. However, I just DON'T like them. No offense, really.
I think this is a very strange law,
"Followers of black metal could be prosecuted under Islamic law. It has been established that black metal practices are way against the syariat and every effort must be taken to stop its spread. Black metal culture is unacceptable for Muslims and can cause listeners to rebel against the the country's prevailing religion."
How does they know I follow black metal? What if I listen to black metal secretly?
And emo goth metal punk things are just lifestyles. They are not like religions that the laws protect them, you can have the emo punk goth metal whatever lifestyles but people may not know. How do people know? Because you look like an "emo" ?
And what does emo goth metal punk mean? No one has ever make a clear defination of them. Looking like an emo is no clear at all, at least the law should say things like these ones:
"Anyone cannot look like emo, that is, have long bangs which cover their eyes, wear big glasses, tight pants, black clothes, band tees, Vans or Converse shoes, wear heavy black make up. or cut them selves, if anyone has done 3 or more of these, they will go to prison for 10 years until they confess that they won't do any of these anymore"
This sounds really crazy. But laws are always some weird things like that. Laws are not true, first they say we have freedom at anything, then second they say we can't do this we can't do that. I think they should cancel the first law, the law told us that we have freedom. It's vague.
I think the ones who write laws should study science and understand what clear defination means. They should stop saying things so hard understanding.
